Erin Bouriakov - S.Korea

Erin Bouriakov is the Artistic Director and Founder of the Vietnamese International Flute Festival and a Grammy Award-winning flutist celebrated for the captivating beauty of her tone and the lyricism of her playing. Internationally recognized as a soloist, chamber musician, educator, and recording artist, she brings a rare combination of technical mastery, expressive depth, and artistic refinement to her performances.

She has appeared as a soloist with leading orchestras, including the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic, Euro-Asian Philharmonic, and Musica Viva. She has collaborated with musicians of the New York Philharmonic, working alongside renowned conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Valery Gergiev, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Zubin Mehta. A former faculty member at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), she is a sought-after teacher who regularly gives masterclasses across Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America.

Viviana Guzman - USA

Chilean-born flutist Viviana Guzmán, described by The New York Times as “an imaginative artist,” is an internationally acclaimed performer and educator. A GRAMMY-nominated musician and Global Music Awards Gold Medalist, she has appeared on CNN, PBS, NBC, ABC, CBS, Good Morning America, NPR, and Univision.

Guzmán has performed in 139 countries across all seven continents. She has appeared as a soloist with more than 265 ensembles, including with orchestras in Russia, Chile, Brazil, USA, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Argentina, Mexico, Kyrgyzstan, Peru, Ecuador, Vietnam, performing in major venues such as Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall.
A Juilliard graduate and former student of James Galway, she has released 13 solo albums and taught masterclasses at over 55 universities. Guzmán currently teaches at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and is the Co-Founder and Editor of The Flute View Magazine and Founder of the SF Flute Society & Flutes by the Sea Masterclass.

Teg Goh - Singapore

Founder and Artistic Director of the Flute Festival Singapore, Tiong Eng,is a distinguished flutist whose artistic journey spans Europe and Asia.

He studied in Paris under the renowned Philippe Pierlot on a prestigious three-year French government full scholarship, graduating with the coveted 1st Prize and Prix d’Excellence. He later continued his training in London at the Royal Academy of Music, earning both the LRAM and a Master’s degree under the guidance of world-renowned maestro William Bennett OBE.

Tiong Eng performed full-time with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra for fifteen years, contributing to numerous concerts, recordings, and international tours. In addition to releasing two solo CD recordings that showcase his artistic versatility, he is an active leader in the regional flute community.

Since 2023, he has served as the Vice-Chairperson of the Asia Flute Congress, helping to promote artistic collaboration and flute performance across Asia.

Meixiang Park - China

Meixiang Park is a flute professor and doctoral supervisor of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts. She worked for the China Radio Symphony Orchestra in Beijing, which is now known as the China Philharmonic Orchestra. She also served as the principal flute of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.

She is a judge of the National Academy of Arts Flute Competition, the Chinese Flute Federation Flute Competition, the Chinese Music Little Golden Bell Award, the Chinese Music Golden Bell Award, the Asian Flute Union Flute Competition, and the Bucharest International Youth Flute Competition in Romania.

She is currently a Yamaha flute artist, president of the Asian Flute Alliance, vice president of the Shanghai Flute Society, and executive director of the China Flute Federation.

Hiromitsu Abe - Japan

Graduated from the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. Prize winner in the flute category of the 45th Japan Music Competition. Former principal flute of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. Retired from the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra in 1995.

Currently professor emeritus at Hokkaido University of Education, visiting professor at Sapporo Otani University, permanent conductor of the HBC Junior Orchestra, president of the Sapporo Flute Association, and vice president of the Japan Flute Association.

Rebecca Viora - Germany

Rebecca Viora is an accomplished flutist born in 1990, who began studying the transverse flute at age seven and won a special mention in the Chieri International Competition at eleven.

She holds a diploma and master’s from the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Turin, graduating with full honors, and pursued further studies at the Chigiana Music Academy (Siena), the Académie Internationale d’été de Nice, and the Milano Music School. A scholarship from the DeSono Music Association enabled her to refine her talents under Maestro Davide Formisano for three years.

Rebecca performs across Italy, France, Switzerland, and Germany in orchestral and chamber settings, and features as a soloist. She has participated in high-profile recordings, appeared on national television, and toured internationally, including in China and Europe.

Naoko Ishibashi | Pianist - Japan

Naoko Ishibashi is a pianist based in Japan, known for her rich tonal palette and highly flexible, expressive ensemble playing. After studying at the Toho Gakuen School of Music and receiving multiple Best Accompanist Awards in major competitions, she has gone on to perform regularly with international musicians in a wide range of chamber music concerts and recitals. She has also been invited as an official accompanist for several international competitions, including the Kobe International Flute Competition, and has appeared at various music festivals, continually expanding her artistic activities and performance engagements.

Jeonghwa Hur | Pianist - S. Korea

Jeonghwa Hur is a distinguished collaborative pianist who graduated from the Conservatoire de Nice and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon. She has appeared as a guest pianist with the Opéra de Lyon, Opéra de Nice, and Radio France, and has been featured at international festivals including the Nice International Music Camp.

Highly sought after by leading flutists, she has performed with Philippe Bernold, Michael Kofler, Denis Bouriakov, Mathieu Defour, Karl-Heinz Schütz, José-Daniel Castellon, David Formisano, and Philippe Pierlot. Her teaching career includes appointments at the Lyon Conservatory, Korea National University of Arts, Yonsei University, and Seoul National University. She currently serves as Adjunct Professor at Sungshin Women’s University and as the official pianist for the Seoul National University flute studio, while maintaining an active international performance career.
